AUSTIN, TX — Lafayette, Indiana-based tech startup IntelliHire has been chosen as one of ten companies nationally to participate in StartupWeekend NEXT events at the internationally-recognized South by Southwest Interactive (SXSW or SXSWi) Festival in Austin, Texas.
IntelliHire’s flagship platform, which launched earlier this year, connects hiring businesses and job applicants with automated interviewing software and data targeting services. Product information is available at the company website, IntelliHire.com, and through a video overview at https://vimeo.com/57851356.
Phil Wright IntelliHire CEO:
The team is excited to share the very big news that we are headed to SXSW as part of StartupWeekend NEXT. Last Wednesday, applications started rolling in internationally and we submitted a 3min video pitch on why IntelliHire should be picked. Out of hundreds who applied in a two-day span, IntelliHire was chosen as one of ten to participate at the festival in Austin.
Within 48 hours of being notified, we began the 18-hour drive through the night from Indiana to Texas. Over the next five days we will spend time with high-profile mentors such as serial entrepreneur Steve Blank, Startup America’s Scott Case, and Eric Koester, the co-founder and CEO of Zaarly.
We are truly excited about the opportunity to represent the Greater Lafayette area and gain valuable experiences that will accelerate the future of our business.
Startup companies participating in the SXSW NEXT program will receive hands-on feedback, including morning program sessions and one-on-one mentoring. The teams will then spend a few days engaging potential customers, honing their business model, participating in office hours, and receiving valuable feedback from investors, established companies, and national industry press.
IntelliHire will be sharing updates throughout their trip on Twitter (@IntelliHire) and Facebook (fb.com/intellihire).
